Refund of Fees Policy

Harvest West Bible College agrees to abide by the Refund of Fees Policy as set out below. This agreement does not remove the right to take further action under the Australia’s consumer protection laws.

  1. Course fees paid in advance are protected by the Australian Government’s Education Services for Overseas Students Assurance Fund. The purpose of the fund is to protect the interests of overseas students and intending overseas students of registered providers by ensuring that the students are provided with suitable alternative courses, or have their Course Money refunded, if the provider cannot provide the courses that the student has paid for.
  2. If, for any reason, an overseas student is unable to start the course on the agreed starting day, all course money paid in advanced will be refunded within 28 days of receipt of a written application to have the fees refunded. The refund of Course Money does not apply to the Registration Fee, which is non-refundable. A $50.00 administration fee will be charged to process the refund. Note: The Overseas Health Care Cover will not be refunded if the overseas student has entered Australia.
  3. If the course an overseas student is enrolled in is cancelled by Harvest West Bible College, and the overseas student has not withdrawn before the course was cancelled, the overseas student will have any Course Money paid in advance refunded to them in full within 14 days of cancellation of the course.
  4. Should an overseas student withdraw from a course after the agreed start date and before its completion the following formula will apply:

    5. If an overseas student withdraws within the first two weeks from the agreed starting day of the course, then they will not be charged any tuition fees.

    If an overseas student withdraws within the first two weeks of any calendar month then tuition fees for that month will not be charged to the student.

    If an overseas student withdraws after the 14th day of any calendar month, then the tuition fees for that month will be charged in full.

    Any remaining tuition fees paid in advance will be refunded within 28 days of the receipt of a written application for refund of tuition fees. Note: The Registration Fee, Student Activity Fee, International Levy and the Overseas Health Care Cover are not refundable after the overseas student has commenced their course.
