Then Harvest West’s new Master of Arts (Ministry) is the course for you!
You will receive quality teaching and advanced ministry training from local, national and international practitioners who are active in ministry. You will be able to apply information directly into your ministry and leadership in your local church.
You will study a total of 9 subjects by:
- Six weeks of Online work – answering a foundational question each week, and interacting with your fellow students.
- One week Intensive – that will be practical instruction with class discussions.
- Assignments will follow, enabling you to ‘pull’ the subject together into practical application for your ministry and/or church.
You can transfer previous studies into this Masters of Arts (Ministry)
We are running two subjects in 2011:
Theological Reflection for Ministry (Core)
Dr David Morgan, from Harvest Bible College, VIC., has previously lectured Theological Reflection for Ministry in Melbourne, receiving great feedback from Pastors. This subject will help you build your capacity to reflect upon, critique, and then shape your ministry to be more effective in your calling and Church. This reflection and application will enable you to shape your ministry to the historical and cultural contexts.
The Online discussions begin 6th June, and the Intensive will be held 4th-8th July.
Church Dynamics and Health
Dr Loh Hung Chey, Pastor of Harvest Force Church, and Assemblies of God Bible College in Singapore, will help you uncover the theology of your ministry and church and the principles that will contribute growth of your church. You will learn how to steer yourself and your church towards your God-given design and purpose, and empower you to channel your resources in the right direction. You will do an analysis of your church and develop strategic plans for future development. Dr Loh is the Singapore Partner for Natural Church Development, and directly interacts with Christian Schwarz regarding church growth dynamics.
The Online discussions begin 17th October; the Intensive will be held in 28th Nov–2nd Dec.
