Diplomas

The Diploma of Ministry will equip you to lead a small group or team in a local church or Christian organisation by providing additional training in Bible, theology and ministry skills.

The Diploma of Ministry will equip you to lead a small group or team in a local church or Christian organisation by providing additional training in Bible, theology and ministry skills.

To attain the Diploma of Ministry, the Certificate IV in Ministry plus 8 additional subjects must be completed. This is a total of 16 diploma subjects. Please call or email for further details.

Structure

The Diploma of Ministry builds on the 8 subjects studied in the Certificate IV in Ministry.

Core:

  • Lead a Ministry Team
  • Corinthian Correspondence
  • Plus any 2 subjects from the Theology Subject List

Electives:

  • any 4 elective subjects

Census dates for 2011 (when VET FEE-HELP is approved):

  • Semester 1: Wednesday 23rd March – on campus, Wednesday 30th March – external
  • Semester 2: Thursday 25th August – on campus, Thursday 1st September – external

EFTSL Value: 0.125 per unit

  • EFTSL – Equivalent Full Time Study Load. The Full Time Study load is 2 years. To get the EFTSL Value, we divide 2 years by 16 units to get 0.125 per unit.

Duration: Two Years Full-Time (available Part-Time)

Entry Requirements: Year 10 or mature age

Pathway: The Diploma opens the way to either of our Bachelor of Arts degrees (50% transfer rate).
