English Language Level

To enter into a course at Harvest West Bible College you must be able to demonstrate that you have sufficient English skills to complete the course. If English is your second language you are required to take an English competency test. At Harvest West Bible College we accept the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).

The minimum scores for our courses are:

•Vocational – 5.5
•Degree – 6.5

This minimum level MUST be achieved in ALL categories (Listening, Writing, Reading and Speaking) as well as in the Overall Score. If a student achieves less than the minimum requirements, we may be able to issue a conditional confirmation of enrolment (extra English lessons required to bring your English proficiency up to the required level).

PLEASE NOTE:
It is the responsibility of the applicant to contact their closest IELTS testing location to arrange and pay for the testing. Harvest West Bible College must receive a copy of the original results before any application can be finalised.
